Ed has been engaged in international business for over 20 years, representing and working for companies to scale up their global presence and generate new sales. Prior to his consultancy role, he has most recently served as CEO of the World Trade Center New Orleans. Under Ed’s leadership, the Center refocused on the promotion of its global brand, its trade services offerings, along with the development of new international economic development partnerships. This included relationships with the World Trade Center Association in New York City , the U.S. Commercial Services, Louisiana Consular Corps, the Ports Association of Louisiana, the International Freight Forwarders & Custom Brokers Association, and other associations in the Louisiana maritime industry.
Ed also served as the President & CEO of the World Trade Center Kentucky and as founding director of the Frazier Museum in Louisville, Kentucky, where he negotiated with the British Royal Armouries to create a long-term collections loan agreement –- the first of its kind outside the UK. He currently provides executive coaching and consulting services specializing in strategic visioning for driving impactful change through innovation and organizational cultural leadership.
Ed is a graduate of the University of Louisville and holds a Master of Business Administration from Bellarmine University, that included living and studying global business in Moscow and Perm, Russia. He has served as a guest instructor at both universities and formerly served on the adjunct staff of Bellarmine.
